I dont think corporations have really realized yet how little loyalty gen z and millenials have to companies. Some may, sure; but im working to pay rent and bills and thats abt it. We visited Turkey, Istanbul for the first time last month, for 5 days, it was very expensive due to inflation. Everything we brought, was double or triple the price. But it was a one time experience for us. In the future, we would like to go out other parts of Turkey but that is in the future when the cost goes down.

I've visited Istanbul in 2017 when 1 Turkish lira was 1 Brazilian real and again in 2023 when 1 Turkish lira was 0.2 Brazilian real but despite the drop in the exchange rate everything was much more expensive. i don't even think disasterous economic "policies" are unintentional. i think who rules turkey and his political party is the nr1 enemy of turkish people. he is devaluing turkish lira and skyrocketing us dollar because he and whoever he serves have dollars to buy whatever turkey has. turkey is free buffet for those who are dollar millionaires. or euro, or any other respectable currency really.

75% inflation is what government calculates, which is severely under reported. Erdogan replaced that government agency multiple times. Others measure the turkish inflation at double that around 140%, look at ENAG inflation

I don’t think you explored Bali enough because south Bali has white sand beaches just not Canggu and north because of volcano. Also I lived in Bali for a year through storms and all and even in places that are far from tourists and never once had an issue with Wi-Fi actually some of the best WiFi in the world that I have experienced. I lived in both places and highly prefer Bali.

You forgot to mention that the banks are not allowed to grant currency exchange for its citizens from Turkish lira to dollar due to the fact that the Lira will drop even more in value. So if you do it anyway, you will get heavily taxed which only causes problems for you instead. Also Visa/Mastercards don’t work on international payments because they don’t want the money to leave turkey.
